Sr Controls Engineer PMP

Our client, an Automation & Engineering Firm, is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer PMP to join their team. As a Sr Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Project Management team supporting various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Jr to Mid Project Manager position for those Sr Engineers with prior part-time PM experience wishing to move into the project management space on a more full time basis.

Job Title: Sr Controls Engineer PMP

Location: Sugar Land, TX

Pay Range: $140,000.00 To $160,000 DOE plus bonus/benefits

What's the Job?

• Manage control systems engineering and design projects from inception to completion.
• Lead teams of engineers and designers to meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Collaborate with client personnel to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety.
• Develop instrument specifications, P&IDs, and oversee field instrument installations.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in managing control systems engineering and design projects.
• Proficiency with PLC/DCS System platforms such as DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, and Rockwell.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide workable solutions in a timely manner.
