Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient education, preventive care, and periodontal health. This role is ideal for a hygienist with experience in a periodontal or implant-focused practice who values quality care over quantity.

Responsibilities

• Provide periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), implant maintenance, and Arestin placement
• Deliver patient education and oral health instruction to improve long-term outcomes
• Take and chart digital radiographs using Dexis
• Maintain accurate digital patient records with Dentrix practice management software
• Administer local anesthesia (preferred, not required)
• Collaborate with periodontists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive periodontal and implant care
• Ensure OSHA and infection control compliance in all clinical procedures

Qualifications

• Active Florida Dental Hygiene License in good standing
• 3–5 years of dental hygiene experience, preferably in a periodontics or implant dentistry setting
• Proficiency with scaling and root planing, periodontal instrumentation, and implant maintenance
• Knowledge of Dentrix, Dexis, and digital charting systems
• Strong communication skills and a passion for educating patients about oral health
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to patient care

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (with plans to expand to 4 days per week)
• 60-minute hygiene appointments to allow for thorough and personalized care
