SCADA System Engineer (Hybrid/Remote)

SOFT's client, located in Allentown, PA (hybrid) is looking for a SCADA Engineer for a long term contract assignment.  There is a possibility of remote if necessary.

Skills / Experience:

• Develop settings for substation projects using existing RTU standards
• Create point assignment sheets and review with substation design engineers
• Understand and apply communication standards set by network engineers to substation designs
• Troubleshooting data/communication issues with system operators and Relay Test personnel.

Required Skills:

• SCADA experience required
• Computer engineering
• data exchange between devices
• hands-on experience with communication protocols and data registers
• comfortable with LUA programming language and PLC ladder logic,
• understand network topology
