JOB SUMMARY: The DevOps Solutions Architect & Technical Delivery Lead drives end-to-end solution design, infrastructure automation, and agile execution across our engineering teams. This role combines technical architecture and DevOps collaboration to lead delivery planning, execution, and coordination with cross functional stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position.

Architecture & DevOps Execution

  • Design cloud-native architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with engineering best practices. for web, native mobile, and backend services
  • Lead implementation of CI/CD pipelines, assist with infrastructure as code, and observability solutions.
  • Own the DevOps roadmap and collaborate with developers & infrastructure team to improve system reliability and delivery speed.

Agile Delivery & Coordination

  • Lead weekly prioritization sessions to review and organize incoming engineering requests.
  • Facilitate bid/weigh estimation processes for new tickets and ensure clarity of technical requirements.
  • Maintain a well-structured backlog in GitHub Projects with clear priorities.
  • Coordinate sprint activities with engineering teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

Product Collaboration

  • Act as a technical liaison between engineering and product management.
  • Translate product initiatives into actionable technical tickets with clear context and effort sizing.
  • Provide technical feasibility input during product planning and roadmap discussions.
  • Help ensure engineering work aligns with product priorities and timelines.

Leadership & Communication

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in architectural reviews, incident retrospectives, and engineering strategy sessions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience (required)

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
  • 7+ years in technical architecture role with DevOps & infrastructure experience
  • Strong experience with Azure, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, ARM), and GitHub
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices, sprint planning, and backlog management
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell or Bash

Preferred

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Experience with GitHub Projects and automations/actions
  • Background in product-facing engineering or technical program management
  • Understanding of cost management, security, and compliance in cloud environments

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing ):

  • Demonstrated proficiency in office productivity software including the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices
