$4 shift differential (2nd shift & evenings), $1 shift differential weekends

Department/Unit Summary
5A is an acute care medical surgical unit
On a typical day, 5A has 24 patients with a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio and 1:10 CA/nurse ratio
We serve the general population of hospitalized patients with a variety of conditions
The conditions include illnesses, surgery, testing and observation patients
We take care of patients with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal and psychiatric issues
While caring for our patients is the focus, 5A boast a strong team environment, improved nurse communication and commitment to SOVAH Health's core values

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school ( bachelorAs degree preferred).
Additional requirements include:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Experience in clinical area preferred
- Telemetry Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- (ACLS) American Heart Association required or obtained within (6) six months of hire
