WORK LOCATION: St. Louis, MO

SALARY: $31.25/hr with overtime eligibility and generous pension contribution on day 1 of employment

SHIFT : Monday - Friday, operating on the afternoon shift from 1 pm - 9:15 pm, working every third weekend shift

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Evergrain Equipment Technician is responsible for enabling excellent performance for their respective equipment centers, encompassing Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Efficiency ownership. The Evergrain Equipment Technician works with EverGrain Process/Utility Technician teams to improve equipment up-time leveraging technical expertise, driving maintenance execution, developing best practices, and providing coaching and guidance to enable autonomous operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily Backlog Prioritization and Planning

    Including coordination of maintenance downtime with production priorities

  • Complete Corrective and Emergency Maintenance on all equipment centers

  • Complete Preventative Maintenance on all equipment centers

    Includes (but is not limited to): Lubrications, Calibrations, Certifications, Inspections, Equipment Overhauls, and Filter Replacements

  • Spare Part Inventory Maintenance that includes: sourcing, receiving, checking parts into and out of inventory, and general sanitation and 5S ownership of the spare part inventory area

    Routine BOM and assembly review for new and existing equipment centers

  • 3rd Party Contractor Maintenance Coordination and Oversite

  • Completion of Problem Terminator and Abnormality Reports for the purpose of root cause identification, validation, and review proficient

  • Routine PM and SOP review and revision

  • Deep Cleaning and Tagging Execution

  • Maintenance KPI Improvement

  • Provide Maintenance specific coaching and guidance to enable autonomous operations

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2 year technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience in electrical or mechanical field

  • Prefer 5 years of mechanical experience with pump and pump seal installation, troubleshooting, and rebuilds, valve installation, troubleshooting, and rebuilds, process instrumentation installation, set up, and troubleshooting, industrial equipment lubrication, electric motors, belt drives, chain drives, gear drives, bearings, couplings, clutches and brakes

  • Able and willing to work mandatory overtime as required.

  • Experience reading engineering drawings and industrial equipment manuals

  • Experience with lifting equipment, hoists, rigging, and slings

  • Baseline understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • Able to lift 50 pounds

  • Be continuously on feet, stand for up to 12 hours a day

  • Able to walk up and down stairs

  • Work in varying temperatures and climates

  • Technical and computer knowledge
