RN - Physician and Health Services Clinical Coordinator
Pay Range: $78,816.00 - $93,456.05 annuallyGENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the supervision and direction of the Chief of Health Services and Integrated Care (CHSIC) along with the agency Medical Director (MD), performs administrative activities managing the department operations for Physician Services and Health Services departments at Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA). Manage business functions, information management, delivery of services, coordination, and oversight of physician and health services departments, including agency initiative related to integrated care. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery-based practices; person centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the person served, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals; and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid persons served in the recovery process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Registered Nurse (RN) degree required. Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required, Master’s degree in health-related field preferred.
Experience:
Four years of professional administrative level experience required in a Michigan Community Mental Health (CMH), along with experience as an RN in a Michigan CMH preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
A current, valid, unencumbered, Michigan registered nurse (RN) license.
Valid Michigan Driver’s license with good driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Working knowledge of CMH policies, Michigan Mental Health Code, and Michigan Medicaid rules/regulations/waivers etc. related to CMH operations.
2. Computer competency, including word processing, spread sheets, databases, internet, E-Mail.
3. An ability to effectively plan, organize, facilitate, and present data and information at meetings of varying sizes.
4. Minimum of novice to competent project management skills.
5. Effective oral and written communication skills.
6. Proficient problem solving and solution implementation skills.
7. Ability to maintain favorable public relations.
8. Ability to exercise independent and mature judgment.
9. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
1. Hearing acuity to converse in person and on telephone.
2. Visual Acuity to read and proofread documents.
3. Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
4. Manual dexterity to write and to operate standard office equipment.
5. Ability to lift and carry files and supplies at least 20 pounds.
6. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with leadership, employees, persons served and the general public.
7. Analytical skills necessary to conduct research, analyze, and interpret complex data and identify and solve problems by proposing courses of action.
8. Ability to plan short and long range and to manage and schedule time.
