Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a Mild/Moderate K-5 assignment requiring a current Colorado SPED license.
Responsibilities- Work in a public elementary school setting serving grades K-5
- Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Average caseload of 18 students
- Assignment for the 2025-2026 school year
- Position focuses on providing instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff as part of the education team
- Resume required for consideration
- Active Colorado Special Education (SPED) teaching license required at the time of consideration
- Teaching credential must be issued prior to the start date
- Experience with mild/moderate special education student populations preferred
- License required if applicable
