Overview Real Estate Asset & Investment Strategy Director Responsibilities Responsible for driving the strategic direction of the North America portfolio in partnership with the business. This role will be responsible for a portion of the North America portfolio (Supply Chain/Industrial (Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Plants, etc.) along with and office locations (exact split of the portfolio TBD). Activities and responsibilities include: Understanding business challenges and strategies Responsible for all transactions within their remit. Preparing financial analysis/modeling at portfolio and location levels. Reviewing appraisals and valuations. Monitoring of property valuations and managing relationships and processes with real estate 3rd party vendors. Ensuring effective governance managing assets and supporting processes . A Brief Overview: Provides strategic and operational leadership for the Real Estate Strategy area, identifying, defining and resolving business problems from multiple perspectives. Develops and executes ideas for strategic planning horizon. Incorporates a Customer Relationship Management mindset into everything they do. Understands the business, their priorities and challenges before discussing real estate topics and solutions. This job oversees a team of senior managers and senior associates and is accountable for driving strategic initiatives while also ensuring the professional growth and development of their team members. Proactively seeks out, generates and embraces creative ideas, concepts and approaches to execute objectives. Advises team managers on best strategies to analyze and overcome business challenges by drawing on financial expertise and experience. Oversees all transactions in their remit on behalf of the North America portfolio to ensure that they strategically align with business goals. Maintains external partnerships and processes with real estate third-party vendors. Operates effectively in a matrix environment by working collaboratively with leaders and colleagues on issues. Skilled at stakeholder manager, adept at influencing without authority at all levels of the organization, including c-suite. Precisely execute operations to support defined and aligned upon strategy. Ensure all critical dates are met and portfolio. Manage strategic external partnerships. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the progress. Fosters professional growth and development of all team members through regular career coaching conversations and performance feedback. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
