Presbyterian is seeking an exprienced OBGYN or womens health RN to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic . The Precious Beginnings RN provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers, new mothers, and newborns within the Precious Beginnings program. This role supports patients through prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum stages, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for both mother and baby.

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in nursing
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time or hire
  • Women's care / OBGYN experience preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal health, recognizing and responding to complications.
  • Educate patients and families on prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Support patients emotionally and physically during labor and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
