SUMMARY
The EyeCare Partners Information Technology team is seeking a Director, IT Program and Incident Management leader. As the Director, you'll lead the team facilitating programs and projects across the IT department. You'll be responsible for setting the strategy of the PMO, including developing processes and procedures to ensure successful delivery of the IT department's initiatives.
You'll work closely with the Enterprise Project Management/Transformation Office, as well as the Strategic Programs team to develop a cohesive organizational program management strategy to deliver business outcomes and value. Align IT planning and execution for high-impact enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Oversee a specialized team of program and agile scrum teams across diverse technology domains to drive performance, delivery excellence, and risk mitigation. Direct financial stewardship of the full IT project portfolio, optimizing investments for maximum value realization. You'll partner with IT leadership to ensure alignment to department goals and effective collaboration at all levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds & leads the newly formed IT Program Management Office, including a team of program, project and resource managers
- Sets the strategy and vision for the IT PMO, closely partnering with IT leadership, EPMO and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
- Optimized IT PMO tools and process surrounding those tools to enable effective intake, resource management and governance processes for the IT organization
- Coordinate incident response across the IT team when issues arise ensuring roles are aligned to remediate issues as they arise.
- Partner with IT leaders to develop and optimize runbooks for clear accountability within IT support structure.
- Develop and expand the role of quarterly planning within IT
- Responsible for executive-level reporting on programs and projects involving IT PMO
- Ensures PMO team has effective support and training to continue supporting and evolving ECP's IT organization
- Direct program/project success surveys to continually identify opportunities for mentorship, training, or enhancements to the PMO team
- Set the foundation for program reporting, working with business leaders to define success metrics and providing dashboards for review
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of leading project teams and driving successful project completion
- Experience and expertise in workflow & process design/optimization
- Expertise in project management methodologies, such as waterfall, Agile, hybrid approaches
- Ability to identify opportunities, design solutions, and drive them through to adoption/execution/implementation
- Prior experience in the implementation and advocacy of project management and/or development best practices, specifically Kanban, or Agile / Scrum
- Experience working with remote/offsite/offshore resources in a globally dispersed environment
- Highly skilled in managing cross-functional partnerships with stakeholder groups to build engagement, understanding and support of the PMO strategy
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Required: Associates degree with equivalent relevant professional experience
- Minimum Required: 8+ years of Project management experience within an enterprise environment, preferably with a focus in product development, IT, or technical projects
- Nice to haves:
- Master's Degree in relevant field
- PMP or related certification
- Previous experience working in the healthcare industry
- Experience with applications such as practice management, electronic health record management, consumer/patient portals, revenue cycle management, or point-of-sale systems
- Experience as a business analyst, change management professional, or technical analyst in an IT Organization

- This position is located in St Louis, Missouri and offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N. Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia may also be considered for remote work.
