The Role

We are searching for an Executive Chef to lead our 30–40-person culinary team in one of North County’s busiest kitchens. This is an opportunity to bring energy, innovation, and leadership to a beloved restaurant that’s as passionate about quality ingredients as we are about creating unforgettable guest experiences.

You will be the driving force behind menu creation, operational excellence, and culinary culture—balancing artistry with the demands of a high-volume environment.

What You’ll Do
    •    Lead with vision: Inspire and manage a diverse team of chefs, line cooks, and prep staff in a high-energy kitchen.
    •    Innovate boldly: Design seasonal menus that excite regulars and attract new guests, keeping flavors fresh and vibrant.
    •    Ensure quality at scale: Oversee all culinary operations, from prep to plating, ensuring consistency and excellence during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
    •    Build a culture of growth: Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering collaboration, creativity, and professional development.
    •    Manage operations with precision: Control food costs, order inventory, and maintain health and safety standards in a busy daily environment.
    •    Collaborate closely: Work hand-in-hand with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience.

What We’re Looking For
    •    Proven success as an Executive Chef (or strong Sous Chef ready to step up) in a high-volume, scratch kitchen environment.
    •    Creativity with New American/Latin/Coastal cuisine and passion for seasonal ingredients.
    •    Strong leadership skills—able to energize and manage a large team in a fast-paced setting.
    •    Solid understanding of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen operations.
    •    A hands-on, positive attitude with the ability to stay cool under pressure.
    •    Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

Salary and Benefits:
