Dental Hygienist

Join our team at Western Reserve Periodontics in Beachwood, OH and make a difference in the lives of our patients! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to provide top-notch care in our state-of-the-art facility.  

We are looking for a full-time hygienist who is interesting in providing the best oral care with the latest technology.  We use GBT (guided biofilm therapy) system to efficiently remove biofilm with comfort.  The GBT is based on erythritol spraying system instead of scaling and polishing.  Please see EMS website for detail. 

Experience with GBT is a plus, but not required.  We will provide training.  Each patient care is 60 min.  Practice is open for 8 hours with 1 hour lunch time.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatment
• Assist with chairside procedures such as sealants and fluoride treatments
• Conduct oral hygiene instruction for patients
• Take digital x-rays 
• Chart periodontal measurements and assist with treatment planning

Required Skills:

• Registered Dental Hygienist with a focus on periodontics
• Experience in chairside assisting and dental prophylaxis
• Proficient in administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
• Ability to perform scaling & root planing procedures
• Strong knowledge of preventive care and oral health maintenance

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with anesthesia administration
• Familiarity with treatment planning and X-ray interpretation

Salary and Benefits:

Hourly rate range from $30 to $38, based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), paid time off, uniform allowance, and periodontal treatment for employees.
