Our client, a leader in educational development, is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team.

As an Instructional Designer, you will be part of the Training and Development department supporting various educational initiatives.

Job Title: Instructional Designer | 6 months contract, potential to become DH

Location: Columbia, Maryland | Requires to be onsite 2 days a week

Pay Range: $30- $32/ hour

What's the Job?

  • Design and create training materials, curriculum, and resources that align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to identify training needs and goals through assessments and surveys.
  • Plan and schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars, coordinating logistics such as venues and equipment.
  • Assist in delivering training sessions, both in-person and virtually, while monitoring the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Evaluate training outcomes, collect feedback from participants, and generate reports to measure program success.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelors degree in education, training, instructional design, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in education, training, or instructional design.
  • Proficiency in supporting the development and delivery of training programs.
  • Strong organizational skills to efficiently plan and coordinate training initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders and convey training concepts clearly.
