Our client, a leader in the utility industry, is seeking a Procurement Consultant to join their team. As a Procurement Consultant, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Procurement Consultant

**Location:** New Albany, OH

**What's the Job?**

+ Manage a portfolio of previously negotiated utility construction contracts and negotiate new contracts as needed.

+ Collaborate with team members to gather data related to construction markets and negotiate rates based on that data.

+ Provide administrative support for contract-related activities, including audit remediation and dispute resolution.

+ Support all aspects of business partner requests for proposals (RFPs) for utility construction projects.

+ Analyze supplier proposals, pricing, and terms to provide recommendations for contract awards.

**What's Needed?**

+ Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field.

+ 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience working with cross-functional teams.

+ Supply chain category management experience, preferably within the utility, manufacturing, or construction industry.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.

+ Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
