Are you a new or experienced veterinarian looking to join a collaborative, innovative, and compassionate veterinary team? Blackbob Pet Hospital and Cat Clinic in Olathe, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing privately owned, AAHA-accredited and Cat Friendly small animal practice.

Our facility features:
- A main hospital with four exam rooms, a large treatment area, dedicated dental suite, sterile surgery suite, separate grooming area, canine boarding space, and designated end of life room.
- Connected cat clinic that includes a separate feline entrance, feline-only exam rooms, treatment area, boarding, lab, pharmacy, and observation cages.
- Digital whole-body and dental radiographs
- Ultrasound, including mobile and hand-held ultrasound, and cold laser
- Shepherd Veterinary Management Software
- Integrated in-house Abaxis/Zoetis lab diagnostics with advanced AI diagnostic tools and Antech reference laboratory
We emphasize preventative medicine and client education, helping families support long, healthy lives for their pets. Our services include a broad spectrum of care, including daytime urgent care, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, boarding and grooming.

What We’re Looking For
- DVM or equivalent from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed (or ability to become licensed) to practice in Kansas
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- A desire to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment
- Availability for Saturday rotation (two Saturdays per month)
- Monthly on-call rotation for boarded pets only
- Interest in growing your skills and making an impact on the lives of pets and their families
