  • Prepare and distribute aging and cash collection reports for leadership review.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including AR reconciliations and audit documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Plant teams to address customer billing issues and payment delays.
  • Serve as the primary AR contact for external customers regarding account balances and invoice status.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and standardization.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members, supporting their training and development.
  • Participate in special projects and process rollouts initiated by the Finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of AR or accounting experience, ideally in a multi-site manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Prior experience in a senior or lead AR role strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AR best practices, credit/collections, and internal controls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-service focus.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
