Our client, an electric utility company, is seeking an Engineering Technologist to join their team. As an Engineering Technologist, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technologist
Location: Fort Wayne, IN (on site)
Pay Range: Up to $32/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend/convert)
Candidates: US Citizens or GC Holders only

What's the Job?

  • Perform engineering circuit analysis studies and customer impact studies.
  • Assist higher-level employees in handling well-defined portions of routine problems.
  • Maintain required records and prepare special reports for tests and equipment performance.
  • Participate in planning meetings covering scheduling, operations, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.

What's Needed?

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent degree.
  • Entry-level knowledge in engineering technology and familiarity with relevant standards and codes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize routine work effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and apply technical knowledge in resolving basic problems.
