Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Truck Mechanic & Tire Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks, as well as perform tire repairs and replacements on-site at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform on-site truck repairs and tire services.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

• Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, brake work, and minor engine repairs.

• Inspect and replace truck tires, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs.

• Operate and maintain service truck, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.

• Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent accurately.

• Communicate clearly with dispatch, service managers, and customers.

• Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • 2+ years of experience as a truck mechanic, diesel technician, or tire repair technician preferred but not mandatory!

  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in outdoor/roadside environments.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Basic computer/tablet skills for work order entry.

• Preferred:

  • CDL license (Class B or higher) a plus.

  • ASE Diesel Certifications.

  • Experience with roadside/emergency truck repair.
