We are looking for an instructional designer with a background in security disciplines to include, but not limited to, program security, security processing, adjudications, information assurance and counterintelligence and insider threat.
The candidate should have experience in analysis/research, design, development, intervention, and evaluation of the trainings effectiveness. The candidate will:
- Develop reliable data collection protocols such as:
- Multi-faceted analysis to identify performance gaps or their organizational impact
- Evaluation of instruction to determine learning gains, performance changes, organizational impact, or similar
- Carry out data collection, analyze the collected data, and report on the findings.
- Identification of performance gaps or learning needs, and their organizational impact
- Determination of learning gains, performance changes, and organizational impact as a result of instruction
- Formally document instructional design plans in the form of a design document, project plan, or similar.
- Use empirical data to make instructional design decisions. Data may come from, but are not limited to, needs assessments, organizational metrics, learning assessments, evaluations, material reviews, or observations.
- Ensuring solutions address performance gaps, improve individuals task performance, or contribute to organizational metrics
- Identifying and making needed improvements to instruction
- Design assessments of learning to determine learning gains or achievement of objectives.

Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate experienced technical staff who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
