You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. for the Manufacturing Engineering group. Our team is responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints into easy-to-follow work instructions and improving the overall build process using cutting-edge technologies and automation.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr., you will be responsible for solving complex problems and developing new processes for ever-changing products. You will work on the most technologically advanced targeting systems in the world, and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Translating complex engineering blueprints into easy-to-follow work instructions for mechanics and assemblers on the production floor.
  • Improving the overall build process using complex, cutting-edge technologies and automation.
  • Troubleshooting and developing new processes for ever-changing products.
  • Participating in RCCA, Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts, and developing process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better product faster.
  • Working on a D shift position (Thursday-Sunday 4/10s) to support our manufacturing operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Position requires 5+ years of production engineering experience with a related Bachelors degree or 3+ years of production engineering experience with a related Masters degree.

Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security clearance.Experience writing technical work instructions

Able to work in cross-functional teams

SAP / Windchill Experience

Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques

Experience in the manufacturing of electronics assemblies with a background in epoxy dispense, component placement, chip & wire assembly, and precision assembly.
