Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Nashville , TN!

The Technical Assistant is responsible for assisting the account managers with the day-to-day servicing of accounts while learning about the insurance industry.

How You Will Contribute:

• Assist a designated department with administrative tasks while learning the Insurance Industry

• Answer phones, route calls, and take/deliver messages

• Perform data entry, invoicing, policy checks, endorsements, renewal preparation and file maintenance

• Create reports and assist with sending out renewals

• Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown

• Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures

• Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills

• Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality

Licenses and Certifications:

• TN Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment) (preferred)

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

• High School Diploma

• Bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline. (preferred)

• 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar position (preferred)

• Proficient with MS Office Suite

• Exceptional telephone demeanor

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

• Notary (preferred)

• AMS360 and ImageRight software experience (preferred)
