About Your Role:

This is a hands-on, full-time Asset Management Analyst position involving day-to-day responsibilities in both asset management and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational reporting, data management, and analysis of property assets and operational information. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial health and future growth of our Company.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

Maintain and update monthly property performance dashboards, ensuring accurate tracking of key operational and financial metrics.

Update and monitor the capital improvements tracker monthly, coordinating with property teams to reflect completed and ongoing projects.

Assist in the preliminary financial review process, verifying accuracy, consistency, and completeness across monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages.

Ensure timely submission of financial statements and related documentation to maintain compliance with lender reporting requirements.

Analyze property tax assessments to identify potential appeal opportunities and coordinate supporting documentation for formal challenges.

Support the preparation of investor reporting materials, including performance summaries, capital updates, and narrative highlights.

Track insurance coverage, expirations, and renewal deadlines, assisting with updates and coordination between brokers and internal teams.

Assist in the monitoring of commercial tenant accounts, including delinquency tracking, lease compliance, CAM Reconciliations and system data entry.

Support the annual budget development process for commercial properties, gathering assumptions and reviewing historical performance.

Conduct due diligence and data gathering for loan refinancing, purchase and sale efforts, including document collection, underwriting support, and internal coordination.

Coordinate and submit replacement reserve draw requests, maintaining accurate records and ensuring alignment with capital plans and lender requirements.

Submit and monitor annual energy benchmarking reports, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Prepare and submit HUD Energy Star reporting, collaborating with site teams and utility providers to meet federal compliance standards.

Manage and track annual business license renewals

Provide general administrative and project support across asset management and investment functions as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field is required.

Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:

2+ years of asset management or related experience preferred.

Specialized Skills:

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Familiarity with property management and development processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments efficiently.

Supervisory Expectations:

The position does not have any regular responsibility for overseeing or supervising the work of other team members.

Independence of Action:

Results are defined; the incumbent sets own goals and determines how to accomplish results with few or no guidelines to follow. Although precedents may exist, supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.
