Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Maintain positive contact with clients/obtain monthly treatment updates Request medical records, bills, liens (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Worker's Comp.), and PIP ledgers Organize, review, and analyze medical records and prepare medical and billing summary Draft and assemble demand packages to adjusters Manage and complete daily to-dos Draft and e-file (NJ) with the Court pleadings, including Complaints, Motions, Arbitration Statements, and Settlement Conference Memos Schedule and notice case events (depositions, expert exams, arbitrations, de bene esses, etc.) Draft Interrogatories, requests for production, request for admissions, supplemental discovery, and motions Organize, review, and analyze discovery documents of plaintiff and defendant Perform case management/independently track deadlines Create settlement documents, distribution statements, etc. Skills: Self-Starter and able to work independently Computer Proficiency with working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and FileVine (or similar document management systems) Must exhibit a high degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities simultaneously Detail-oriented, highly organized with the ability to multi-task Ability to adapt to changes in workflow Positive attitude Familiar with medical terminology and injuries is a plus Bilingual a plus
