A facility is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Memphis, Tennessee.

This Pediatric Emergency Medicine position requires board certification or eligibility through ABP, AOBP, ABP-PEM, ABEM, or AOBEM. Preferred candidates are Peds EM board-certified or dual-boarded in EM and General Pediatrics, though general pediatricians with at least 3 years of pediatric emergency experience are also considered. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS. COVID vaccination is required. The facility sees an annual volume of 24,000 patients, averaging 22.5 patients per hour. The ED has 10 beds, recently expanded to 14. Shifts are 12 hours: 6:30 AM6:30 PM and 6:30 PM6:30 AM, with 20 hours of APC support. There is no scribe coverage or responsibility for admitting orders, and the site uses EPIC EMR. The facility does not hold a trauma center designation.
