Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience : IV Start

Types of Patients on Unit : Neonates, Adolescents, Adults

Unit Details : Number of Beds 13

Special Requests : RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Previous Employment Requirements :

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program 8th Edition)

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring) or the alternative certification C-EFM (National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties)
