We are currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to join our GFS Chemicals Family. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating our inside sales team to achieve revenue targets and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the chemical industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university required, preferable with some chemistry background
- 4 – 5 years of previous sales management in an industrial industry – chemicals preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
- Effective verbal and written communicator, able to communicate with a variety of audiences and management levels and translate business requirements into web requirements
- Capable of communicating with customers and purchasing agents to negotiate pricing deals and new products to ensure minimum profitability levels for the company
- High degree of organization, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail
- Proven success hitting sales goals in a high growth organization
- Ability to lead by example and set high standards of creative thinking to drive the business to new levels
- Proven success managing a team of inside sales and customer service professionals to exceed sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and drive high caliber sales and customer service talent
- Demonstrated personnel management experience
- Proficient use of and experience with Microsoft Office products; SharePoint experience is preferred
- Excellent phone voice and ability to obtain information quickly over the phone
- Proficient with the English language (ability to read, write, and speak English fluently)
- Knowledgeable of the buying habits across the environmental, industrial, pharmaceutical, petrochemical governmental sectors
Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership : Lead, coach, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets
Strategy Development : Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the chemical industry
Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
Sales Process Improvement : Continuously optimize the inside sales process
Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to make informed business decisions
Performance Tracking : Monitor and report on sales team performance
