Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a full time Systems Engineer with a mechanical focus to be part of our Interface Management team working on the US TRIDENT Submarine Strategic Weapon System program. The selected canidate will work closely with numerous engineering teams supporting the US Navy's Strategic Systems Porgram command and it's industry partners.

Our primary function is to ensure that all weapon system interface requiements are correctly defined and properly allocated to the cognizant organization. This is achieved by performing technical change evaluations and interfacing with government and contrcator acitivites to define weapon system coordinated interfaces.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering preferred and at least 6 years of related/relevant work experience.

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with arious engineering tools/languages including PTC Windchill, IBM DOORs, 2D/3D CAD, SysML.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience working with modeling tools
  • Understanding detailed engineering principles with Interface Control/Design Drawings

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
