**The Role**
The Manager of Accounting is an individual contributor responsible for reviewing the work of team members without direct supervisory responsibilities. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Manager ensures the team is performing all required responsibilities and collaborating across the organization on non-routine projects and ad-hoc work.
**Location**
This is a work from home position within the U.S.
**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Manage General Ledger accounting and administrative processes for a fully remote team in a fast-paced environment.
+ Partner with various professionals across the Accounting, Finance and Information Technology (IT) organizations to ensure accurate accounting records.
+ Provide quality independent analysis on transactions, ledger balances and financial statements to facilitate an efficient monthly close.
+ Ensure the General Ledger team is engaging appropriately across the organization with a healthy amount of customer obsession.
+ Monitor metrics and checklists to measure team and individual performance.
+ Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
+ Collaborate across the organization to ensure corporate initiatives are successful.
+ Drive process improvement for your team, as necessary.
+ Provide quarterly analysis to SEC Reporting and External Auditors.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ 5-7 years of diverse experience in accounting, finance or related fields.
+ Actively licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.
+ 1-3 years of experience reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements.
+ 1-3 years experience closing the books in S4/HANA preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of accounting process, SOX controls and the monthly close cycle.
+ Working knowledge of US GAAP and general SEC reporting requirements.
+ Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ SAP experience required.
**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
