K-12 Virtual Sign Language Interpreter - Remote Learning Platform - Columbus, OH

Position Details This remote position offers the opportunity to work with students throughout Ohio's virtual school system. You'll provide comprehensive interpretation services using advanced video conferencing technology while supporting diverse learning needs and academic goals.

Student Support Services

• Elementary grade interpretation for core subjects
• Middle school multi-subject academic support
• High school transition and career preparation interpretation
• Special education service coordination
• Standardized testing accommodation support

Professional Responsibilities

• Deliver real-time ASL interpretation during virtual classes
• Support educational team meetings and collaboration sessions
• Interpret for parent-teacher conferences and family communications
• Assist with virtual field trips and educational programming
• Maintain detailed service logs and progress documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Required Credentials

• 3.5 EIPA score minimum requirement
• 2 years of K-12 educational interpreting experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Ohio interpreting credentials as applicable
• Strong technology skills and virtual platform experience
