We're looking for an optimistic, forward-looking leader who can adapt to new challenges to work in our fast-paced warehouse environment. This is not an office job! You will spend most of your time on the warehouse floor training and supervising associates picking orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery and processing paperwork related to product delivery with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The Warehouse Supervisor will perform the following duties:

• Train and mentor new associates, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Develop and mentor associates through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities.
• Utilize the Company's warehouse management system and other technologies available to maximize productivity and accuracy.
• Analyze the productivity and quality levels of the warehouse operation and recommend appropriate changes.
• Supervise associates in staffing, training coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Interview Order Picker candidates and make hiring recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with the companys health and safety programs. May attend safety meetings and complete incident reports.
• Ensure timely, accurate and complete order picking for the night shift.
• Assists with overall day-to-day administration of warehouse functions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation

$55,000-$65,000 depending on experience

Required Qualifications

High school diploma/GED
2+ years warehouse or related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must be able to work evenings/overnight, including weekends and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

2-year degree
4+ years warehouse experience in the foodservice industry
2+ years supervisory experience
2+ years experience in training warehouse associates
Experience working in a union environment
