Adecco is seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to be the first point of contact for the office. The ideal candidate will greet and direct visitors, manage iing calls, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This is a dynamic role suited for someone who enjoys customer service, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and wee visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce them to appropriate personnel.
Operate a multi-line phone system to answer iing calls and route them to the correct department or personnel.
Retrieve, document, and forward voice mail messages as needed.
Provide general information to callers, including office address, directions, andpany policies.
Maintain and update appointment calendars.
Receive, sort, and distribute iing mail; prepare outgoing correspondence.
Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring stock is replenished as needed.
Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document collation.
Support internal teams with administrative tasks and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strongmunication skillsverbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Excellentanizational and time-management skills.
Skills & Competencies:
Speaks clearly and persuasively in both positive and challenging situations.
Listens actively, asks clarifying questions, and responds appropriately.
Demonstrates a calm, customer-focused approach in emotional or stressful situations.
Takes initiative to identify and resolve problems efficiently and collaboratively.
Wees feedback and contributes to a positive, team-oriented workplace.
Shows respect for all individuals and takes responsibility for own actions.
Writes clearly and accurately; proofreads documents for grammar and spelling.
Interprets and follows written and verbal instructions effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, speak, and listen.
Occasionally required to walk, kneel, stoop, or crouch.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs occasionally.
Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
