The Rehab Team Member is currently licensed to practice therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team oriented multi-disciplinary rehabilitation program. These services are offered via outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with neurologic and orthopedic injuries. The rehabilitation team members report to the rehabilitation clinic manager as part of the Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services structure.
The Rehab Team Member works under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services and under direct supervision of their clinic manager. The Rehab Team Member evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of their profession in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to the clinic manager, they are also responsible to each other, to those they supervise (rehab assistants and athletic trainers) and to other participants included in the patient care activities.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: All Rehab Team Members must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board or the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their professions. All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution. Current American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.
Maintains professional licensure; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification.
