**Job Description Summary:**

Our OhioHealth Dosimetry team is looking to fill a full-time, Monday-Friday position. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the OhioHealth Radiation Oncology team to support our care sites across the organization. We can offer a hybrid work environment to the qualified candidate.

Our team currently consists of 14 board certified Physicists, 1 Medical Physics Assistant, and 15 dosimetrists. The Dosimetrist performs radiation treatment planning and electron block and bolus fabrication. We are responsible for covering 10 different care sites across central and eastern Ohio. While we all have a home base and primary care site we are responsible for, our large group allows a collaborative cross coverage support for the team. **Responsibilities And Duties:**

80%

Performs radiation treatment planning using computerized treatment planning system. Performs calculations for accurate delivery of treatment.

5%

Construct and supervise the construction of custom electron blocks and custom bolus.

10%

Consult on patient set-ups for simulation and treatment.

5%

Assist with other radiation treatment procedures.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Bachelor's Degree (Required)

**Additional Job Description:**

Bachelors Degree

Graduate from a JRCERT accredited dosimetry program

Knowledge of the radiation oncology treatment machines, radiation physics, anatomy and computerized treatment planning systems used to generate the radiation treatment plan.
