The Manager, Tax and Risk Management manages, enhances, and tracks the Company's insurance schedules, including property statement of values, secures Certificates of Insurance for Company subsidiaries and provides other support (as detailed below) to the Risk Management department. This individual will also support the Tax department assisting with various tax deliverables including filings of income tax returns and income tax provision.

How you'll contribute

A Manager, Tax and Risk Management who excels in this role:

  • Take responsibility for insurance schedule database management, including database entry for schedules including property statement of values, automobiles, helipads and storage tanks, as well as insurance policy management, tracking, and policy and supporting document upload.

  • Communicate with the Company's brokers needed changes to schedules.

  • Assist Company subsidiaries in securing the variety of Certificates of Insurance needed to meet contractual and compliance obligations.

  • Collaborate with intra and extra department members to secure data to successfully renew insurance coverages across the enterprise.

  • Assist with integrating newly acquired organizations and new users into the insurance database, including uploading information into the database, and auditing data.

  • Serve as an administrator for the insurance database and claim reporting system.

  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports from the insurance database and claim reporting system for the risk management team, subsidiaries, and various departments within the HSC.

  • Prepare physician insurance and claims history confirmations.

  • Assist with claim data entry and invoice processing.

  • Assist with file organization and cross-referencing data supporting income tax compliance and provision.

  • Assist with pulling data and calculations to support the quarterly and annual tax provision.

  • Assist with pulling data and calculations to support the income tax returns.

  • Assist the Tax department as needed with preparing and filing of income tax returns.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for

Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor degree preferred

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of tax insurance management experience.
