Microbiology Tech III

Our client, a leader in the scientific industry, is seeking a Microbiology Tech III to join their team. As a Microbiology Tech III, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting critical operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Microbiology Tech III

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: 19/hr on w2

What's the Job?

• Perform media making tasks to support laboratory operations.
• Conduct audits on laboratory equipment to ensure compliance and functionality.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
• Sterilize lab equipment to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Test environmental samples, including swab and water samples, to ensure quality control.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or any Science with Micro experience.
• 1 year of experience in a microbiology lab (preferred), or relevant lab experience as a fresh graduate.
• Experience with plating and testing samples, including powder, liquid, and raw ingredients.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices is essential.
