Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
- Previous management experience is required
- Proficiency in NextGen Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) is preferred
- Favorable result on Background Check required

SUMMARY
A Patient Coordinator Supervisor is trained to act as the first point of contact for our patients where they set the tone for the patients visit through excellent patient care. This employee will also perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone). Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
- Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times
- Practice urgency at all times with patients time, as well as doctors time and schedule
- Manage patient flow in the office
- Knowledge of common fees charged for common visitsand collect correct payments
- Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
- General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager
- Make weekly schedules for Patient Coordinator team members
- Communicate with Doctors and teams about patient scheduling issues
- Train new team members and ensure current team members are trained on all current and new protocols
- Point person for Patient Coordinator team members when manager is out of office or unavailable
- Assist manager in handling patient concerns and complaints
- Assist manager with other duties as they arise
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Consistently creates a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused
- Desire to gain industry knowledge and training
- Demonstrates initiative in accomplishing practice goals
- Ability to grow, adapt, and accept change
- Commitment to work over 40 hours to meet the needs of the business
- Reliable transportation that would allow employee to go to multiple work locations with minimal notice
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
- One year of management experience is required
- Favorable result on background check is required
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS
- None required
SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficiency in NextGen Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (2550%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuityincluding color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focusis required 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.
