Senior AI/ML Engineer

AI/ML Engineer | Elite Hedge Fund

A leading hedge fund is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and implement advanced machine learning solutions that support investment research, trading, and infrastructure. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI/ML tools to enhance investment decision-making and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement ML-driven improvements to internal processes and systems
• Collaborate with data, engineering, and investment teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions
• Optimize model performance and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Contribute to the development of a robust infrastructure for AI/ML applications
• Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, LLMs, and data infrastructure

Qualifications:

• 4-10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, ideally in finance or tech
• Proficient in Python, R, or Java
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and statistical modeling
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and LLM tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API)
• Experience with vector databases or knowledge graphs is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
