Brown & Brown is seeking a Sales Associate for our team in Fort Lauderdale , Florida !

The Sales Associate will support our sales efforts by assisting a senior sales staff member, engaging with clients, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to the overall growth of our business. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Collaborate with senior sales professionals to help achieve sales targets, develop client relationships, and enhance the overall sales process.

  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their needs, provide information about products/services, and address any inquiries or concerns.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as reviewing sales proposals, quotes, contracts, and other documentation as needed.

  • Contribute to lead generation efforts by identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and qualifying leads to pass on to senior sales staff.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and other relevant information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Provide the sales team with necessary support including creating sales reports, analyzing data, and assisting with sales presentations.

  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build a network of contacts that can contribute to sales growth.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.

  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • High school diploma required ; Bachelor's degree in Business , Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment .
