The incumbent will teach Yiddish 3399, hold office hours, grade assignments, and submit grades, and related pedagogical activities. Education and Experience Requirements Required : Appointment as lecturer requires that the individual have, at a minimum, a Master's degree in a field appropriate to the subject matter to be taught. Evidence of ability to provide high-quality instruction is desirable. Our graduate program in German and undergraduate programs in German, Scandinavian, and Yiddish offer a wide array of courses, covering both languages (German, Swedish, Old Norse, Yiddish) and research fields, from medieval studies to contemporary literatures, cultures, and media to Second Language Acquisition.
