Outside Sales Account Manager – Industrial Solutions

Role Overview: We are seeking a full-time, driven Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team and expand our reach in surrounding areas. In this role, you will manage client accounts, foster long-term relationships, deliver impactful sales presentations, and provide top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality, capable of identifying and developing sales opportunities independently. As a technical solutions provider, we need someone who can help our customers address their daily operational needs with confidence and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek and secure sales opportunities, demonstrating a hunter mentality and identifying possibilities others may overlook.
  • Build and sustain close working relationships with decision-makers within assigned customer accounts.
  • Gather and relay market intelligence to Inside Sales to assist in accurate and competitive quote preparation.
  • Follow up on issued quotes to ensure closure and meet sales targets.
  • Drive revenue growth through assigned accounts while meeting gross profit goals.
  • Analyze and resolve customer technical issues, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Conduct engaging product/process presentations and customer training sessions, including lunch-and-learn events.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the industrial sector.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence buying decisions.
  • Technical education and background, with a demonstrated ability to analyze and review technical documents.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with superior organizational skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including VFDs and control panels.
