Overview

Must be a licensed or temporary licensed (graduate )Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant We are seeking a dedicated, fun, and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. We are a small, busy, outpatient office co-located inside a fitness center. We pride ourselves on successful outcomes, and a personalized experience with our private treatment rooms and family atmosphere. Experience and skill base will determine salary, with room to learn and grow. We are current and certified with skills including Dry needling, Graston, Cupping, shock wave and much more. . Traditional Therapies..gait training, balance, manual therapy and modalities are provided As well. We offer private Performance Training for weekenders, HS, College and Professional Athletes as well.

Duties

· Physical Therapists will diagnose and develop appropriate Plan of care for treatment

· Assistants will Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

· Conduct therapy sessions that may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.

· Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.

· Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.

· Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

· Participate in discharge planning to facilitate a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to another level of care.

· Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications

· Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

· OR

· Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

· Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Physical Therapist ( will accept temporary/pending)

· Knowledge of various therapy techniques including trigger point therapy, geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care, and home health practices is preferred.

· Familiarity with discharge planning processes and medical terminology is advantageous.

· Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

· Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy while providing patient care.

· Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or moving patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20-40 per week
