In this role, you'll play a key support role within the Casey's commercial fuel team, contributing to fuel volume growth through both strategic marketing and operational execution. The Associate Fuel Sales Representative is responsible for actively marketing fuel volumes from Casey's store network in alignment with the company's commercial fuel strategy, as well as managing a variety of administrative and analytical tasks, including commercial fuel reporting, fleet partner invoice processing and payable workflows through Coupa. This role serves as the CRM liaison with the Fuel IT department and collaborates closely with the Retail Pricing team to support pricing analysis and commercial sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by self-generating leads through various channels, including existing relationships, social media, cold calling, and participation in industry events and trade shows.
  • Develop and convert sales prospects into commercial fuel customers at Casey's locations.
  • Craft and communicate a compelling, personalized value proposition for Casey's commercial fuel sites during sales calls and meetings.
  • Support and maintain existing customer contracts and discount programs, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Document all prospect and customer interactions and regularly report on sales activities and progress.
  • Crosstrain and assist with administrative responsibilities, including commercial site setup, invoice processing, monthly reporting, discount form completion and related tasks.
  • Provide post sale support to ensure customer satisfaction, encourage repeat business and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Pricing team to analyze commercial site fuel profitability and adjust retail pricing and discounts to optimize profitability.

Compensation:

Starting pay range: $54,000 - $68,000. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work-related experience.
  • At least two years of experience in sales or sales support role, preferably in business-to-business (BTB) environment.
  • Demonstrated ability or strong potential to achieve results, compete effectively, and develop new business opportunities through proactive engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including cold-calling, networking, and in-person engagement, exhibiting clear and professional verbal communication with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must possess time management, prioritization and situational awareness abilities.
  • Problem-solving and negotiating skills, with a focus on active listening and responsiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to understand and communicate Casey's value proposition.
  • Eagerness to grow in a competitive sales environment and develop new business opportunities. Results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to contribute to team and company goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • A significant amount of travel (25%) including overnight stays is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
