Olentangy Local Schools is actively hiring a full-time School Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessments, counseling, and intervention services that help students reach their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a collaborative educational team.
Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, youll conduct evaluations, assist with intervention planning, and consult with staff and families to promote academic and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychoeducational evaluations and prepare thorough reports
Support IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings
Provide short-term counseling and behavioral consultation services
Develop and monitor Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies
Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
Required Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
Active Ohio School Psychologist Certification
Knowledge of IEP processes, MTSS, and behavioral supports
Prior school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
