General Practice (Medical Director Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a well-established, AAHA accredited veterinary hospital in Kirkland, Washington, seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to step into the role of Medical Director. This position is ideal for someone eager to lead a tenured team of doctors while maintaining an active clinical presence in a practice committed to high-quality veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Tuesday through Friday 7 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays from 7 am to 5 pm. The hospitals opening hours will extend to Monday once the doctor team expanded. A full-time schedule will be agreed to provide work life balance whilst ensuring the hospitals needs are adequately met.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight and mentorship to an experienced DVM team, helping guide the medical standards and protocols of the hospital. Alongside leadership duties, the role includes delivering comprehensive care across wellness, dentistry, surgery, and diagnostics. This position is geared toward veterinarians with proven leadership experience and a desire to positively shape both medical quality and team culture.

Practice Details
The hospital emphasizes preventive care and offers services including spays, neuters, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics. Equipment includes digital dental radiography and ultrasound, supporting a high standard of patient care. The practice is known not only for its clinical quality but for its supportive, compassionate team environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
