Business Office Manager

A Skilled Nursing Facility is looking to hire a Business Office Manager to join our administrative team. This position plays a key role in supporting residents and families with financial matters and ensuring smooth billing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with residents and their families to review financial responsibilities

  • Support Medicaid applicants by helping gather necessary paperwork

  • Maintain accurate census data within billing and clinical software systems

  • Oversee collection of private payments and resident income

  • Assist in obtaining insurance authorizations as needed

  • Manage distribution of resident trust funds

  • Ensure all financial paperwork and admission documents are properly completed

  • Provide general administrative support related to resident financial matters

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing processes preferred

  • Comfortable communicating financial information in a professional, compassionate manner

  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
