Veterinary Practice Manager

Location: NVC – Lake Charles, Louisiana
Position Type: Full-Time | $60,000–$65,000 Salary | Annual Bonus Opportunity | Relocation Support Available!
Schedule: 5 days/week with occasional Saturdays

The Opportunity

As Practice Manager, you will be the cultural driver and operational lead of our Lake Charles location. This is not a back-office role. You will be hands-on and visible—building people, refining processes, and enhancing the client and patient experience every day.

What You'll Do

Lead the Team

• Stay active and present on the floor—coach, encourage, and lead by example

• Foster a culture of support, accountability, and team achievement

• Manage scheduling, communication, performance reviews, and one-on-ones

• Encourage staff development and continuous learning

Elevate the Client Experience

• Drive client satisfaction, engagement, and retention

• Partner with Marketing to increase visibility and community outreach

• Ensure professionalism and consistency in all communications

• Handle escalated concerns with empathy and confidence

Drive Operational Success

• Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and facility needs

• Track and support financial performance alongside Operations leadership

• Use KPIs and data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements

Ensure Compliance & Safety

• Maintain OSHA, DEA, TVB, and labor law compliance

• Lead safety efforts and manage Workers' Comp documentation

• Protect staff, client, and patient confidentiality

Provide Financial & Administrative Insight

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Oversee billing processes and support accounts receivable health

• Help sustain long-term profitability and service excellence

Compensation & Benefits
