Building Location: Building F - Duluth Clinic - 3rd Street Department: 2901580 ORTHOPEDIC MEDICINE - EH DC Job Description: Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. Education Qualifications:

East Market: Graduate of accredited practical nursing program or medical assistant Program Graduate of an approved LPN program or medical assistant (MA) program.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

East Market: Current Minnesota LPN with the State of Minnesota Board of Nursing. OR Current Certification as a Medical Assistant. Medical Assistants hired before July 1st, 2015 have 1 year from date of hire or transfer to achieve Certification as a Medical Assistant.

BLS required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
