Procurement Analyst

Job#: 2078706 Job Description: Hybrid 3X per week in McLean, VA Contract Through June 2026 As Contract and System Analyst, Category Management, you will manage supplier data upkeep and program implementation through Salesforce, Smart Spend (Coupa) and EcoVadis. The duration of the contract is 12 months with potential for extension. You will work closely with all category managers in Corporate and Technology Procurement and report to the Director, Corporate Procurement. More specifically, you will: Work independently in key areas of data management, supplier management, compliance, and reporting Connect with suppliers and onboard through multiple programs, including Coupa, Risk Assessment and Eco Vadis Monitor requisition requests within Coupa, draft contract templates specific to the supplier type, hand off the initial contract to Category Manager for negotiation and execution Perform monthly reporting on contract status, contract planning, and savings captured across categories Maintain Coupa data and roll it up into Salesforce, when required Supplier contact updates in Salesforce, when required Cross train with other departments, shadow those for weeks at a time Deviated Pricing contract maintenance and updates Other duties as assigned in support of other HSM departments What are we looking for? The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: Dedicated self-starter, who takes initiative with minimal direction and understands concepts quickly Solid contract management expertise, familiarity with legal and business terms, and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams as well as externally with suppliers and industry partners Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to present information to stakeholders in a concise, well-organized manner at the appropriate level of detail for target audience Strong negotiation skills and strategic business experience Excellent critical thinking, combined with quantitative and qualitative analytical skills To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: Two (2) years of procurement experience It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field Experience using Coupa and Ariba software Hospitality/hotel industry experience Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
