A corrections facility is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Clinton, NJ.

This full-time physician-only role starts ASAP for ideally 6 months (3 months may be considered) with a 30-day credentialing timeframe. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with phone-only call coverage 1:4 or 1:5. The provider will see 1020 adult patients daily and must be board-certified in Family Medicine with an active NJ license (Internal Medicine candidates will not be considered). Experience in womens health exams, suturing, I&Ds, and joint injections is required. Support staff includes nurses and MAs, and documentation is done via paper charts.
